The basics

Thin film, real results

Window tint is a thin film cut to fit your glass and applied to the inside of each window. Modern ceramic and carbon films do much more than darken the glass: they reject infrared heat, cut glare and block 99% of UV rays.

We install HITEK film. Ceramic IR is our go-to for the most heat rejection, and Carbon IR gives a deep black look at a lower price. Both are non-metal, so your phone, GPS and toll tag work as usual.

Common questions

Your window tint questions, answered

How dark can I tint my windows in California?
California requires the front side windows to let in at least 70% of light, and only the top 4 inches of the windshield can be tinted. Rear side and back windows can go darker. We will help you pick a shade that looks great and stays legal.
What is the difference between carbon and ceramic tint?
Both block 99% of UV and are non-metal, so they will not interfere with your phone, GPS or toll tag. HITEK Carbon IR rejects about 62% of infrared heat at 5% shade with a deep black look. HITEK Ceramic IR rejects about 75%, so your cabin stays cooler.
When can I roll my windows down?
Keep the windows up for 3 to 5 days while the film cures. A little haze or small water pockets are normal at first and clear up as the film dries.
Is there a warranty?
The HITEK films we install are backed by a manufacturer warranty. Ask us about the coverage for the film you choose.
